Hello 2010! After an exciting and very busy Holiday season, we are thrilled to share all kinds of updates & news! As the holiday season approached, our blogging had to take a back seat to our distinctive & personalized holiday gifts, impressive gift basket designs, party favors for holiday festivities and events, unique branded employee gifts…and so much more!

In November and December we received pallets of amazing gourmet treats, commissioned gourmet food vendors to create delicious confections exclusively for EXCLAMATIONS! Gifts, hired an awesome crew of holiday helpers, custom designed hundreds of holiday gift baskets and gift stacks, hand-tied hundreds of bows, then delivered and shipped all of our creations throughout San Diego and the United States of America!

We are always honored and grateful to assist & represent our valued clients during this special season.

Here’s to the new decade! In 2010 we are proud and truly thankful to be celebrating 17 years in business!

Custom Themed Thank You Gifts for Corporate & Personal Gifting

We’ve been posting about Claudia’s community service efforts for San Diego’s recent Jewel Ball fundraising event. In addition to Claudia’s long hours of preparation, our team was working hard here at the shop! We created stunning and impressive custom themed thank you gifts for the big event!

These brilliant keepsake thank you gifts arrived in style!

Our chunky hand painted photo frames coordinated perfectly with this year’s Silk and Spice theme! We selected the photo frames in perfectly matching rich hues of orange, pink and green. Each one was then packaged with materials inspired by the event’s “Passage to India” look and feel. We encircled each gift in alternating sheer organza and mesh wraps and completed the arrangement with our signature luxurious hand-tied bows and custom printed ribbon!  For added personalization, we created custom coordinating printed inserts for each photo frame! The perfect finishing touch!

These unique thank you gifts provide the ideal keepsake for a photo memento of the 2009 Jewel Ball!  Ball Chairwoman Jennifer Greenfield was delighted with our custom gift collection!

At EXCLAMATIONS!, we prioritize the “art of giving” in the community because investing in others enriches our own lives. We are honored to partner with dozens of non-profit organizations throughout San Diego and beyond.

Claudia Johnson, President of EXCLAMATIONS! is a proud & active member of San Diego’s Las Patronas.

Through a thoughtful grant process, Las Patronas funds critically needed capital items to organizations providing a wide spectrum of social, medical, cultural and environmental services that encompass every corner of San Diego County.

Since 1946, the all-volunteer philanthropic organization has donated more than $12 million to more than a thousand charitable institutions in San Diego.

Members of Las Patronas raise all of the funds that they grant through the annual Jewel Ball in August at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. The Jewel Ball is San Diego’s most prestigious social event and a cherished tradition for the many long-time guests.

This year’s 63^rd Annual Jewel Ball, Silk & Spice, is Saturday, August 8, 2009, and it certainly promises to be an event to remember!

In preparation for this spectacular celebration, Claudia is busy wrapping up an exciting and tiring week of extra long days jam-packed with hard work for Las Patronas’ annual Jewel Ball Work Week.  This week of “creating” the Jewel Ball includes building, painting, decorating, instructing, moving, engineering, lifting, delegating and accenting in order to give the Beach Club a temporary “Extreme Makeover” into a true fantasyland each year.

When the doors open at 7pm tomorrow night – the sense of achievement is certainly overwhelming and absolutely rewarding!
